DOUBLEVISION for Character Terminals is remote control software for UNIXsystems that permits a remote system to connect to another terminal, (ttyor pseudo-tty), and have full access to its screen and keyboard. Onceattached, the screen looks like the screen of the terminal to which it isattached, and the keyboard operates the remote terminal, over serial I/Oboard, modem, or network. DOUBLEVISION works seamlessly between liketerminals - including proprietary terminals. Its unique terminal mappingcapability adapts to each terminal environment automatically and handlesscreen reformatting on the fly. DOUBLEVISION is used for remote support,remote training, and remote demonstrations. Other uses may includeproductivity monitoring, system and modem security, and batch jobprocessing. DOUBLEVISION supports the most common UNIX systems: SCO UNIX3.2.x; SCO XENIX 2.3.x; SCO Open Desktop x.x; SCO MPX x.x; InteractiveUNIX 3.x, 4.x; IBM AIX (RS6) 3.2.x; HP/UX 9/8xx 8.0.2, 9.x;UnixWare 4.2; NCR 3 4.0; DG/UX (A ViiON) 5.4.2x; Solaris 2.x (SPARConly). DOUBLEVISION for X Window Systems is also available. DOUBLEVISIONuses memory only when in use, requiring 5K per attached user; 6K persession of DOUBLEVISION running; a device driver size of 28K; and 1.5Mbhard disk space. DOUBLEVISION is installed on the target machine, (wherethe user that you want to view is logged on), only. DOUBLEVISION does NOTneed to be on both machines. DOUBLEVISION is priced per machine,unlimited logins, and is broken into two classes. Class A consists ofsingle processor Intel-based systems; Class B consists of RISC-basedsystems and multiprocessor Intel-based systems. Retail pricing starts at$395.00 for Class A and $695.00 for Class B. DOUBLEVISION is availbledirectly from MaxTech or their growing network of distributors andresellers.
